I used to believe in diets.

But of course, only the “right ones”... ha! Diets are based on an unspoken fear. Eventually, you will destroy all that you love. The “promise” of a diet is not only that you’ll have a different body but you will have a different life. If you hate yourself enough, you’ll love yourself. If you torture yourself enough, you’ll become a peaceful relaxed person... 🤔 the very notion that hatred leads to love and torture leads to relaxation is absolutely insane. We hypnotize ourselves into believing the end justifies the means. We treat ourselves as if punishment and shame lead to change. We treat our bodies like they are the enemy and the only acceptable outcome is annihilation. I’ve never met one. single. person. that positive transformation came as the result of being at war with their body. Although, we continue to believe that with a little self disgust we’ll prevail. Here it is y’all... the shape of your body obeys the shape of your beliefs about love, value and possibilities. To change your body you must first understand that which is shaping it. Not fight it. Not force it. Not deprive it. Not shame it. Not do anything but accept it. Because if you force, deprive, shame yourself thin you end up a deprived, shamed, fearful person who will only be thin for about 10 min. When you abuse yourself you become a bruised human no matter how much you weigh.. The very act of self love is difficult to even conceive especially since we’ve been taught to hate ourselves for so long. Please trust me when I say it’s possible no matter how far away from it you think you are. You have to start somewhere. Do you see yourself in this? Want to make a game plan to move forward? Email / message me.
